Hush breathing fire!

Hush were Australia’s answer to overseas acts like The Sweet or Slade of the glam rock era. The music was loud raunchy boogie style rock ‘n’ roll. A household name in the seventies, Hush thrilled audiences in their outrageous platform shoes, satin flares, flowing scarves and equally imaginative stage sets that included fire-breathing dragons on 14ft black backdrops on either side of the drum riser. Hush had a few successful albums and hits on the charts that included their huge No. 1 song “Boney Maroney”.
